Urban concept of the Hagibor area

Hagibor is the name of the area defined in the south by Vinohradská street, in the east by Na Palouku street, the northern border is formed by Izraelská and Nad Vodovodem streets, and the western by Pod Židovským hřbitovy street. The addressed area is further defined by Počernická Street, which crosses Hagibor. Today, this area is home to a "people's" parking lot, a small civic amenity completely outside the scale of the surrounding development, and to the north there is a sports hall with tennis courts. The rest of the territory is basically unused and in a deplorable state. In addition to the noisy Vinohradská street with tram traffic, the Káráný pressure water line, which crosses the territory at the northern border, is also a significant limit. The goal of the proposal is to create an urban environment using clearly defined spaces. The traditional concept of gazebos and defining spaces using semi-open blocks appears here. Closer to the noisy Vinohradská, barrier administrative buildings are proposed, which grade towards the intersection with Počernická. This is further punctuated by the short facades of the apartment buildings in such a way as to create a contrast with the drab arched house on the opposite side of the street. The proposal fully reflects the existing mature greenery, in its places it plans to create a park. Together with the cemeteries, the territory forms an integrated green system. It goes without saying that the territory is fully accessible, connected to the cycle route system and has a collision-free transport connection.
